Georges

Claire Elise Boucher was born March 17, 1988. The name she is given is Grimes. Her first work has been described as going from "lo-fi R&B" to futuristic dance-pop. She has also incorporated influence from electronic music, hip hop, and rock. The majority of her songs touch upon science fiction themes and feminist concepts. Five studio albums have been published by her. Grimes was born in Vancouver but later relocated to Montreal. She began her solo career in the late decade. In 2010 she debuted two albums via Arbutus Records, Geidi Primes (and Halfaxa), respectively. In 2012, Visions will be her third studio effort. She signed with 4AD. Visions comprises the singles "Genesis" and "Oblivion" as well as the Canadian music industry Juno Award for Electronic Album of the year. Art Angels, her fourth studio record, was released in the year 2015. Many publications called it the best album. The fifth studio album Miss Anthropocene, was out in 2020. Grimes is also a judge in Alter Ego, a music contest. She also was part in the Cyberpunk 2077 2020 role-playing game. Georges Georges Georges
